In accordance with the Autonomous College regulations and to ensure effective financial planning, transparent financial management, and optimal utilization of institutional resources, it has been decided to constitute the Finance Committee of Sri Sai Institute of Technology & Science (Autonomous) for the Academic Year 2026–27.
The committee shall oversee financial planning, budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, audit compliance, and resource mobilization in accordance with the policies of the institution and the directions of the Governing Body.
The following members are hereby nominated to the Finance Committee:

The Finance Committee shall:
- Prepare and recommend the Annual Budget to the Governing Body.
- Review budget allocations and monitor budget utilization by various departments.
- Examine income and expenditure statements periodically.
- Recommend financial policies and procedures for effective financial management.
- Review proposals for capital expenditure, infrastructure development, and procurement.
- Ensure proper utilization of institutional funds and promote financial discipline.
- Review audit reports and recommend compliance with audit observations.
- Recommend fee structures and other financial matters to the Governing Body, wherever applicable.
- Suggest measures for resource mobilization through consultancy, research grants, CSR, alumni contributions, and other sources.
- Monitor statutory payments such as affiliation fees, university fees, taxes, utility charges, and other institutional obligations.
- Review the financial implications of major academic and administrative initiatives.
- Submit recommendations and reports to the Governing Body for approval.
