The Department of Electronics and
Communication Engineering was established in the year 2001
with an intake of 60 and was sanctioned additional 60
students by the end of 2005.
The Department is equipped with 14 labs which includes 6
advanced labs. Additionally the department consists of
departmental computer centre with internet facility,
sophisticated staff rooms, departmental library,
Departmental seminar hall, ECE workshop, tutorial rooms
and classrooms with modern teaching aids. The department
is completely covered with CC Cameras to provide better
security and best education.
The Department is rated as one of the best departments in
the Private Sector and is attracting top rankers in EAMCET.
The department has highly qualified and experienced
faculty which also includes advanced facilities like LCD
for effective teaching.
The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops,
conferences, symposia and refresher courses to keep in
pace with recent developments in the field of Electronics
& Communications Engineering.
Our students have been awarded in many of the paper
contests. Most of the students actively participate in
National-level Student Paper Contests which are held at
various Engineering Colleges.
The ECE students have been continuously securing top
university Ranks among the affiliated colleges. During the
recent years, majority of the students have been selected
through campus selection for placement in reputed
companies.
About HOD
The department is headed by Mr.Y. Murali
Mohan Babu, Assoc. Professor, who is actively monitoring
the activities of the department.
He is a man of simplicity, sincerity, straight forward and
hard working. He has more than nine years of teaching
experience. He has done his B.Tech. Degree from Jawaharlal
Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, HDSE degree
from APTECH, Hyderabad, M.E. degree in Micro wave and
Radar Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Currently he is pursuing his PHD research work in Digital
Image Processing in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological
University, Anantapur. Additionally he has technical
memberships like "MISKE" and "AMIE".

2007 batch student Mr N.Surendra has secured university Gold medal.
2007 batch student Mr. N.Surendra has
secured university first rank in II-year II-sem.

2008 batch student Miss. N. Sasi kala
has secured university first rank in I-year examinations
held in June 2009.
2007 batch student Mr N.Surendra has
secured university first rank in JNTUA, among the students
of all B.Tech (ECE) university examinations held.
