The Department of Computer Science &
Engineering was established in the year 2001-2002 with an
intake of 60 and was sanctioned additional 60 seats during 2007-2008 academic year.
The CSE wing consists of Departmental Computer Centre,
departmental library with internet facility, CSE seminar
hall, six computer labs consisting of 60 terminals with
latest configurations (P-IV systems & Dual Core). All the labs are LAN
connected operating on different operating systems such as
Windows NT, MSDOS, Windows -98 and Unix. The softwares
available in the lab are MS Office, flash, latex etc. The
languages software provided in the labs are C, C++, JAVA,
VC++, ADVANCED, JAVA, COBOL, ORACLE11i, UML, and SQL.
Facilities are available for uninterrupted power supply
(UPS) in all the labs.
The department uses sophisticated equipments such as LCD
for effective teaching, CC Cameras to provide better
education with more surveillance. The department has well
qualified and experienced faculty members. The staff
members are encouraged to participate in workshops,
conferences, and symposiums to keep in track with current
innovative technologies and developments. Most of the
faculty members are pursuing for their Ph.D. degrees and Post
Graduation through “Quality Improvement Program”.
About HOD
The department is heading by Mr.V.Venkata Ramana, Assoc. Professor, who is actively monitoring the activities of the department. He has more than 9 years of teaching experience. He has done his M.Tech. in Computer Science& Engineering from the JNTU Hyderabad. Currently he is pursing Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering under Supervision of Proff. A Ramamohan Reddy(SVUCE,SV University, Tirupati) at JNTUA, Anantapur. 2007 Batch student Miss Gundumalli.Masudhabhanu has secured University 11th RANK in the IV B.Tech Regular, Examination held in 2010.
2007 Batch student Miss S Parveen Begami has secured University 8th RANKs in the III-I,IV-I semesters.
2006 Batch student Miss.G Sumithra has secured University 8th RANK in the IV B.Tech –II Semester Regular Examination held in 2010.
